Antique

Quick Reference to Scripting Command
a=ANTIQUE(ANTIQUE/UNANTIQUE)
Items in CAPS are 0/1 switches or switches with more options than 0/1.

Operation Example

The Antique operation allows the user to add or remove the "yellow tinge" usually associated with antique photographs and film. The dialog contains only two controls - antique and un-antique. Antique will add or enhance any existing antique coloring an the specified area selection. Selecting the un-antique option will produce the opposite result. Un-Antique will remove the yellowing effect instead of adding it. In general you can regain some of the true color that once existed in a photo. For more specific color corrections and reconstruction you can also try the Balance and Histogram operations found in the Standard group.

Antique Controls

Trends

Some of the controls have a Trend button next to them. These trend buttons allow you to set variables over a series of frames. Each frame of any animation may be thought of as a slice of time. The trends allow you to alter some, all, or none of the variables for a particular time slice. Trend graphs have equidistantly spaced vertical lines. For animations under 100 frames in length, each of these lines represents a frame in the animation. The number of frames in any one sequence can be altered using the Sequence controls item from the Timeline pull down menu. Animation lengths of 100 - 999 frames will be represented with a vertical bar being 10 frames, and animation length greater than 1000 frames will have a vertical bar for every 100 frames. Click here to view more information on Trends.

Antique/Un-Antique

These two radio buttons control how the Antique operation will work. If the Antique option is selected, then the operation will add the yellowish tinge that is usually associated with antique photos. If the Un-Antique option is selected, then the operation will try to eliminate the yellow coloration from the image.
